WordCamp Kansas City

Two years ago, my brother and his wife uprooted their family and left Montréal for Kansas City. Because I miss them terribly, I try to get down there as often as possible. I’ve made it a tradition to spend Christmas with them, but I’ve never visited in the summer!

Until now!

I’ll be attending WordCamp Kansas City, a three-day WordCamp happening June 10-12, 2016.

I’ll be speaking on Saturday, June 11 at 10am about content audits and rewrites in the context of a website redesign.

That day, WordCamp is at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center
4801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City, MO → Map

If it’s your first time to Kansas City, you might fall in love with this surprisingly dynamic mid-western city just like me!

Places I love in KC are:

  1. Raygun for hilarious midwestern shirts

2. Oddly Correct Coffee for delicious pour over

3. The Reitger Hotel (and Manifesto, the speakeasy downstairs) for drinks

4. Succotash for brunch

5. The Kauffman Center for the Arts for a show

Hope to see you there!

*** Are you sticking around Montréal this summer? Don’t miss WordCamp Montréal, July 23-24, 2016.

  1. We can’t wait to see you and show off our lovely city in the summertime. The street car is up and running and waiting for you!

  2. Is the Dutch Republic show still on at the Nelson Atkins Art Museum?
